ALLIANCE NEW PRODUCT QUALITY PROCEDURE IS
ANPQP applies to all external suppliers including vehicle, powertrain anqp service parts and can apply to external suppliers of direct materials and in-house suppliers of production parts. Accessories parts not included within the original specification of the vehicle are not included within the scope of ANPQP. Nissan’s proprietary inspection system encompass criteria designed to examine the quality control systems at a supplier’s factory and how well it works.
In addition, for the legal aspects of ANPQP application, the supplier shall also refer to other relevant documents including, without limitation: This agreement shall be on a project by project basis and include responsibilities for customer signature when applicable. Additionally, monitoring of the progress of preparation for production is initiated at this stage. Senior Management commitment to support fully the achievement of all project goals and targets is a fundamental requirement nidsan all phases of ANPQP.
This nssan must be maintained to reflect the current anqp status. A strong partnership must be based on mutual trust and respect and one where both partners move forward together.
ANPQP utilises electronic documentation and some of these require the signature of the supplier representative. It must cover the whole life of the project up to and including start of production.
However, some items remain company-specific in line with individual company znpqp identity. The supplier shall commence this activity immediately after SOP, through volume increase ramp-up and into full volume production.
In the case when a supplier supplies the same product to more than one Alliance customer then the documentation submission requirements will be agreed between the customers and the supplier during the early stages of development.
The requirements of this section include the development of the major features of the manufacturing system and its related control plans and logistics issues to achieve quality, cost and delivery targets within the required nissam. These strict quality evaluations are performed by specially-trained evaluators who have been legitimately certified. This requirement applies for the entire production life of the product.
OFF-TOOL The supplier shall commence this activity immediately after design fix and tooling release and ensure the development of the production tooling is completed ready for the off-tool confirmation. The requirements for production part approval and confirmation of full volume condition are key to confirming that the entire product development and manufacturing process development are satisfactory Note: After the implementation of the ANPQP, Nissan employs a system of checks to ensure that its suppliers maintain a superior level of quality assurance.
Feedback results from one project are used as input to the first phase of the next project. The English version is the master and should be referred to when clarification of any items is necessary.
The objective of Phase 3 is to complete the development of the production tooling so that those products produced from them fully comply with the design specification. The objective of Phase 5 is to monitor and improve the manufacturing process by specifying requirements such as reducing process variation to continually improve customer satisfaction during series production. Therefore, the supplier should discuss the document sign-off requirements with their Alliance customer on a case by case basis.
Through the implementation of these quality systems, Nissan is able to ensure the consistent quality of its sourced components.

ANPQP Phase Diagram shows the linking of the five phases through new model development and the milestones, which must be achieved to progress to each new phase.
For the ANPQP to succeed, we first need to determine the supplier’s ability to provide and respond to feedback. The supplier must ensure that all requests for change Design, Niesan, Facility are authorised by Alliance customers prior to the change taking place.
