Yes, we are all, to some extent, products of our parents’ unresolved issues, but I truly believe most people do the best they can. It’s all covered here. I’ve already shared these secrets with my friends, and they have all benefited.
The first part natural,y all about the rules and explaining them, and the second part is restating said rules to plant the seed so that you can memorize them, and Frankel holds your hand through the first week of incorporating them.
I’m guessing the difference is her predilection for sweets and alcohol, which she thinks is worth it.

Additionally, when you eat at home, you likely nafurally your plate with more food that you need. If Nahurally buy it I am most likely going to want to eat it all. At least, that’s how it seemed to me, and I think her bad habits inspired me rhin develop a healthier lifestyle, so I could be different than she was.
In true Bethenny style I think her rules make a lot of sense and are some great tennents to live by. Overall, I liked it and I think some of it can work for me. Maisel’ is more than just attire. Build a firm foundation of good health and self care and you can do anything. Frankel mentions non vegan foods often which isn’t an issue for me but she gives vegan alternatives or I can veganize some of the recipes if I chose.
But we can all be naturally thin.

Life is too short to waste obsessing over fat grams or carb grams or never, ever exceeding 1, calories a day.
Don’t expect your entire life to change from it, but it does have some handy recommendations. The simple fact is that you don’t function normally if you constantly have to measure, count, restrict, and obsess over food.
I obsessed about food, and pushed it away, too. I ate at odd hours based on when I was hungry. Fill up on volume foods like a big bowl of salad before you have your tastes. I certainly did not waste food, but neither did I eat much after I was full so as to save it for later. It’s not really bad advice, but I don’t know how helpful naturaply is, either. I think some of the recipes are really good and I think the scenarios she spells out are really “real life”.

For me, “good enough” is never good enough when it comes to food or anything, for that matter! And she seems like she’s hiding something. But I realize it’s difficult not to be obsessed with appearances, food, and dieting no matter franlel you live.
So I’d like you to view the recipes in this book as guidelines. If you feel that you need some encouragement, a boost to your confidence in yourself, then I think this book may be of some help to you. I can’t even imagine going back to my old ways of thinking, eating, and behaving — my heavy habits, those habits that perpetuated my self-destructive thinking and eating.
There were times when she would write “this is not a diet” or “don’t follow a diet” and then I would read her rules and think “but you are basically describing a diet of sorts”. Although she suggests doggie bags, it sounds like she throws away natuarlly ungodly amount of food.
